Created for the Unpolished Game Jam – Theme: "Go Deep"

“Jules, this is the Sage. Do you copy? It’s me—Jesse.”
“You’re not alone down there. Stay sharp.”

MINE is a short, atmospheric horror game about descending into the abandoned Orville Mine, sealed without explanation ten years ago. No one knows what really happened. The stories don’t match.

Except one thing.
They all end with a shadow.

You play as Jules, part of an unauthorized expedition of young myth hunters poking where they probably shouldn't. You enter the mine with nothing—no weapons, no supplies. Just a voice on the radio and the sound of the wind through the shaft.

Scrounge what you can. A Lantern. A Petrol Can. Maybe enough to get the generator running—if you're lucky.

This mine has been forgotten for a reason.
Something waits below.

Controls:

WASD – Move
Shift – Run
CTRL – Crouch
E – Interact / Pickup
G – Throw Item

NOTES:
Only the Lantern and Petrol Can made it in before the deadline—if I continue development, expect more items, scares, and surprises. It is only the one level at the moment. Also, I didn't have time to test the build I sent in or get screenshots of the game so it may be a mess.
